Towers Week, Tower have  won eight out of eight fixtures with one game to play.

Tower A 3 St Aubin 0

League leaders St Aubin came a cropper down at Tower last night. First on for Tower was young Greame Duhamel, playing against an ex Tower President the experienced Byron le Cornu. Young Duhamel settled well and played solid elementary Billiards missing little, potting well and playing some excellent slow long losers to take a commanding lead and win by 46 points. Second on for Tower was reserve Colin Jehan,  an ex tower President. Jehan was drawn against the ancient Bert Soyer, (Berts 89th Birthday details 17th Nov are posted all along Victoria Avenue.) Bert Could not match Colin’s potting but still made 246 before Jehan  made the magic 250. Last on were Richard de la Haye v Tony Venton, the pair met recently in the Individual league where de la Haye won by 26 points. However last night the tables turned.  Venton playing at his best got over a hundred ahead in the first 15 minutes with the help of  37 & 28 breaks. De la Haye’s  best break was a 28 but not enough to stop Venton’s  excellent potting and good all round Billiard play, Venton  went on to make his 250 leaving de la Haye  59 points short.

Tower B Services 0

Again Tower  were  on top form, Bunny White started the ball rolling by defeating Bob Bradshaw 240 to Bobs 222 Clock stopped play at 75 minutes.
